It seems that the video for 2.1 is under key concept 2.3.
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Someone else emailed me that today as well, but on my end it’s matching up. Not sure what the issue is, but I’ll try to figure it out.
Julie Thoma says
Your videos are a great resource for both teachers and students. I like how you structure your videos to align with the concept outline. I would like to ask your permission to use your videos for my students until I am able to start making my own videos.
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Thanks for the kind words. Of course, you are welcome to anything and everything that I have on here. Good luck to you and your students!
Stevie says
Thanks for the vids doing the fill in the blank as homework with my fellow students to study for the first test of the year!!! Very helpful will come back before the AP test for sure!!!! 🙂
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Awesome, I’m glad they helped. Good luck!
Laurie Hayes says
I am pretty sure I am your number one fan! Thank you so much for the videos, Power points, and video guides. My students and I think they are very helpful. I tend to get bogged down in the details on my Power points; yours are concise and historically accurate. Thanks again!
anorris21@yahoo.com says
That’s great to hear. Thanks so much for your support. Good luck to you and your students!
Harrison says
First of all, this website is amazing… Keep up the good work. What I love the most (other than the content), is how you begin each and every video so enthusiastically. “HEYYYYY” or “YO YOYOYOYO” that actually brightens up my finals cramping mood.
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Thanks for the kind words. I love making these videos and I’m glad it shows. Best of luck.
Katie says
Thanks so much! Makes studying easy when it’s all in one place! Can’t wait to rock it tomorrow:)!
Melissa Williams says
Do you have Fill in the Blank for your new Enlightenment video? My students have found these to be valuable and I assign them as outside work, Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication.
Adam says
Just uploaded the video guide. Now I have to find the PPT. Thanks for your support! Good luck to you and your students.
Ally says
I have a test over period 2 tomorrow that if I wouldn’t have watched your videos I probably would have failed. But I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos because they will make getting a good grade in apush a lot more achievable.
Kathleen Becker says
Hello,
I really love how you have your videos set up. I am new to APUSH this year and wanted to ask permission to add a link on my webpage for my students to use in order to view your videos.
Adam says
Hi Kathleen, of course, please add anything you’d like to your page. Good luck this year. Please let me know if I can do anything.
Lily says
I didn’t find this website until after I had taken the short essay portion of my test. Well, I got 70% on the short essays, but 96% on the multiple choice after watching these videos! Says something… awesome job!!
Adam says
That’s great to hear. Congrats on doing so well! Thanks for watching.
Chelsea says
Thanks so much for making these videos – I’m an extremely auditory learner in a textbook-based class and coming here to study has been a lifesaver so far. Your videos are straightforward and the guided notes allow me to follow along and have a print copy to look back on later when practicing short answer questions. Overall, super helpful. Thank you!

YEAH APUSH WOOOOOO
Lizz Etter says
Thank you so very much! This course was thrown at me this year and I am using your resources as a guide. I’m so happy this is available to the world 🙂
Jonathon Slaughter says
I used your videos and powerpoints with my classes last year and we are using them again this year. I noticed that you have made some changes from last years powerpoints for the first 2 periods so far. It seems that the new ones have a little less information. I was wondering why you decided to leave out some of the information from the previous ones and if you are going to do that with all of the powerpoints? Thanks for all that you share on your site, It is a great resource for APUS History.
Adam says
The PowerPoints reflect the updated Curriculum Framework that was released July 2015. Feel free to use either version, but the ones labeled most-up-to-date version reflect the revised curriculum. Good luck!
Comfort Uba says
Taking a period 2 test tomorrow, I feel like I can ace it now THANKS!!!!
Sara says
I love using your videos while teaching APUSH! Having trouble locating the powerpoint for key concept 2.3, however. Is there a link to it somewhere on this page that I am missing?
Adam says
For the revised curriculum (July, 2015), there is not a Key Concept 2.3. Just 2.1 and 2.2.
Sara says
Thank you so much! Got mildly confused for a moment. So hard to keep up with the revisions. Thank you for all that you do!
Adam says
I agree. I was told this is the last of the revisions….. (Crosses fingers)
Paige says
I am unable to access the Fill-In-the -Blank Guides because the “page is redirected too many times”. Is there a fix for this or another way for me to access them?
Adam says
It’s fixed now!

Hello Mr. Norris and thank you very much. My students and I love your videos and resources. I cannot seem to locate key concept 2.3. Am I just missing it, or have you removed it from this site?
Thanks again,
Brian Dailey
Adam says
Hello, there used to be a Key Concept 2.3, but with the revisions last year (2 years ago? I can’t remember) there is only 2.1 and 2.2.
Good luck this year,
Adam
Anna Bowser says
Awesome resources! I just started using this year and can already see a difference!
Adam says
Thanks. Best of luck to you!
Rhen M Myers says
Thank you so much for making these videos! They are very helpful! Other videos I get lost in or they are too wordy. Yours have really improved my test grades!
Mirra says
Hi I was wondering if you have a Key Concepts video for 2.3 for the Enlightnment period, my school is making us complete a summer assignment and they linked us to this page, but I cannot seem to find the 2.3 one. Thank You!
Adam says
Hello, the curriculum changed a few years ago and there isn’t a 2.3 anymore. Period 2 only has Key Concept 2.1 and 2.2. Let me know if I can help out with anything else. Good luck!
Kimberly Smoak says
Hello! This is such a wonderful resource. I notice that it says “2015 Latest Revision” but there was another revision in 2018. Will this still cover what needs to be covered with the new revision? I apologize if this is a naive question-I’m new to APUSH. Thanks so much!
Jessica says
I am teaching APUSH for the first time since the revision. I have been teaching for 28 years and with all the things going on this year, your videos and the fill-in-the blank sheets, I feel a little less overwhelmed than I did before. Thanks for sharing your skills, lectures, and work with all of us. It is such a blessing to this ol’ teacher. We use your videos in class and for review. A great resource.
Adam says
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad to hear the videos are helping. Best of luck to you and your students!
Xylona Mixon says
You are just awesome! Personally, I wouldn’t say I do not like history, and if it had not been for your video, I would not have been able to write this Essay—many blessings to you in your life for just being a great help.

Hi, In your power points you refer to specific pages in curriculum , ie page 31. Where do I find the curriculum you’re referring to? thanks!
