I was thrown into the fire this year when I was told I’d be teaching APUSH four days before school started. To make things more interesting I had to learn how to fit 500 years of history into an 18 week block schedule and then I had to navigate how to get students to study sessions in the Spring Semester when they were no longer taking the course. While teaching the course has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, it has also been the toughest. I want to thank you for all of the time that you’ve spent in making these materials available to so many teachers and students. My students have benefitted from it and I have as well. Thank you for all of your hard work and for all that you’ve done to support teachers and student across the country. It is much appreciated!

I took the AP US History Exam a few hours ago and I just want to say that your videos helped me significantly. Honestly, if I hadn’t watched your videos I probably would have failed but I have confidence in getting a passing grade. Thank you so much for all your videos! My class has had a crazy year in APUSH, switching teachers half way through, but these videos have really kept me on track and helped me prepare for the exam. I love the cause and affect aspect of history, but I have a hard time with memorization, especially in the area of dates. I was wondering if you could make a timeline of basic periods such as the civil war and the gilded age as well as must-know dates like 1763… I know this is very last minute with the exam in a few days and I understand if it can’t be done, but I appreciate all the work you have done to help APUSH students!

I wanted to write this comment to thank you profoundly for the highly efficient videos you have bestowed upon us. It is always a pleasure to click on one of your videos the night before a test and being able to finish reviewing all the material in about an hour and a half. I will never forget the time I used your videos in order to study for a midterm and being able to do well on it the next morning. My favorite video has to be the episode on the Compromise of 1850, and I laughed so hard at all the jokes you put in. I hope you continue to publish these videos for the high school AP students who need it.
