Just a suggestion but maybe you should go backwards on this series because most people have already studied periods 1-6 so it would be more beneficial to have 8 and 9 up now while students are still testing on them. Again just a suggestion.. Thanks!
Noor says
Hello,
Thank you so much for all that you do. Will there be future 10 minute review videos for the Periods 4-7
Again thank you so much for this website! You really saved my grade!

Alex says
Day one asking for Mr Mayer to have a shoutout.
Sofia says
Hi!!
Could you please add the rest of the period reviews in 10 minutes videos? Those are a life saver when studying for tests!
Thanks !
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Period 4 will be up today, more to come soon. Thanks for watching.
Vibha says
Would you recommend using the Key Concept reviews as well, or just the 10min videos? Do they cover the same things?
anorris21@yahoo.com says
What I would do is use the 10 minute reviews AFTER watching the key concept videos. Those videos are much more detailed than the 10 minute ones. Good luck!
Ellen Robbins says

All of Mr. Johanson’s APUSH class at Branham High loves your videos. Thank you so much for helping us pass and excel!!! Your videos always come in handy when we need them, and they are (surprisingly) interesting and easy to understand. 🙂
Sean Gatewood says
Hey Mr. Norris, I just want to thank you for all the efforts you put into this. I belong to a program where my APUSH class only meets twice a week, so most of our learning has to come from self-studying. I was feeling wary about this year’s test, especially since I had to focus on AP Calculus at the same time, but I now feel very confident about the test on Friday. 🙂
anorris21@yahoo.com says
Thank you for this message. Best of luck on Friday, I’m sure you’ll do great.
Victoria says
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!! That is a thank you for all 9 periods of APUSH! You’ve helped me so much this year. I was failing the first half of the year because my teacher couldn’t teach and wouldn’t help me (I’m a honor roll student who takes all level 1 classes and gets A’s, so I started freaking out when I was failing most of my tests in the class). So like any other smart person would do, I looked up APUSH review sites online and found yours. I watched all of your videos and ended up going from failing to getting a C in the class! I cannot thank you enough because this is my junior year and a F on my transcript would not look good. I’m feeling really good about the exam on Friday!! 🙂
Paige says
Thank you so much for these videos: they’re extremely helpful and a great way to review all of this information! I really appreciate all of your tips and above all your positivity….this test is really daunting but your encouragement definitely makes me feel better!

Eric Miller says
These videos helped a ton, a feel quite a bit more confident about the exam tomorrow! 😛 Thanks!
Brittany says
These are so helpful. One of the teachers at school has been doing after school review sessions using all sorts of your videos, but I haven’t been able to make it to them. I’ve been watching the heck out of your videos though. They are really helpful. I feel more confident. Do you have any last minute tips for the exam tomorrow?
Emilie Kovalik says
Hi Mr. Norris!
I just wanted to tell you how immensely grateful I am for all of your 10 minute review videos and key concept videos. Short background I basically failed every one of my APUSH tests this semester and as this week grew closer my heart was filled with dread because I knew I would do poorly on the exam. Your videos aren’t a new tool for me, my teacher often paired your videos with her teaching so I knew this should be one of the first places I went to study (along with my review books) Now, thanks to your work, I’m actually pretty confident in my abilities to pass the APUSH exam and I can’t believe how much I’ve been able to learn and retain this past week. If it hadn’t been for these videos I don’t know where I would be right now and I feel forever in your debt for all that you do for not just your class, but for classes like mine around the country! Again, thank you so so so much 🙂
Jenna says
The time has come and within the next 12 hours, students nationwide will be commencing the APUSH exam with loads of confidence and inner peace because of your site, Mr. Norris. I just want to take the time to thank you greatly for everything you have done to make this happen. Nowadays, students grow up in an education system surrounded by teachers who are only there to do a job and to get advances in pay depending on how well their students do. However, stumbling upon your site contradicts that and I can tell how passionate you are about this subject and teaching students who otherwise would have had to teach themselves. You’re genuine care and effort to help students is moving and I want you to know you are not going unappreciated. Thanks again for all you do. Without you, I don’t know where I’d be.
Jason Yamashita says
Hi Mr. Norris,
I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for me this school year of APUSH. Your videos have literally served as a second class that have helped me so much throughout my tests and quizzes. Thank you for preparing me for the AP test tomorrow! I am so grateful for everything!

you made a great contribution to high school students. well, i’m a chinese, and i was looking for a website like this! A small suggestion, you speak too fast to non-english international students. And where can i get more new APUSH practices, sepecially the multiple-choice questions?
Bam Han says
I love you. You are the reason I got a 5 on my exam last year. <3
Adam says
Thanks for the kind words, but YOU are the reason you got a 5. Congrats!
Elizabeth says
The video for period 4 says that Missouri was added to the Union as a free state and Maine was added as slave state, which is not true, it was the other way around. (See minute 12:40)
Nicole says
Thank you so much for all that you do, this will help me tremendously for my practice exam tomorrow! You truly are a great teacher.

kierathefangirl says
My APUSH teacher pointed us to this and gave us fill-in-the-blank guides and said to annotate as well. It’s getting stuck in my head easier now that I’ve heard it aloud. It’s easier to learn with the videos. Shout out to Evergreen High’s Mr. Doyle! (from WA)

Just pointing out a typo you missed in the Period 7 video; at 11:09 you says “quick review for period 8” instead of period 7.

Hi Adam, thank you for all your videos! They helped me get an A in APUSH and get a 5 on the AP U.S. History Exam. I’m now using them to help me study for the U.S. History SAT subject test!

Loved your videos, thank you so much!
AP Failure says
Thanks for the videos man but I’m really gonna fail the AP test. I have an A, but I barely do any of the work, and when there’s work to turn in I usually do it quickly and poorly or copy someone else’s work to get that easy completion grade. When test corrections roll around after a test I always use Google to look up the correct answer so I get a good grade. We’ve done very little essay work and the essays I’ve written I’ve always had to look stuff up beforehand. I hardly remember anything from previous periods we’ve learned in the past. Looking for life advice, thanks.
Wayne says
Adam Norris,
